    Aconex Takes $85M


    Aconex, a provider of web-based software for managing construction and engineering products, said this morning that it has raised $85M from Francisco Partners. The firm, which has offices in San Francisco but is based in Australia, said the funding will go into product development, acquisitions, and to help the firm enter new markets. Francisco Partners adds two people to the board of Aconex.
