    Agito Networks Raises $13M

Sunnyvale-based Agito Networks said today that it has closed a Series B funding round, worth approximately $13M. The round was led by Castile Ventures, and also included ITX International Holdings Inc. and prior investor Battery Ventures. Agito, which develops mobile roaming software for wireless LANs, said the funding will go towards market expansion and product development. David Leonard, former VP and GM of Cisco's Wireless Networking Business Unit and Desktop Switching Business Unit, has been named the firm's Executive Chairman as part of the funding, and Castile's Carl Stjernfeldt also joins the board. Agito's software is used to use WiFi and WLANs for extending cell phone coverage within companies.
