    Amyris Biotechnologies Gets $24.75M


    Emeryville-based Amyris Biotechnologies has scored $24.75M out of a $62M, Series C funding round, according to a regulatory filing from the firm yesterday. Details on the funding have not been announced by the company. The firm is backed by Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, DAG Ventures, and TPG Biotech. Amyris is developing synthetic microorganisms used to produce biofuels.
