San Rafael-based Autodesk said Monday afternoon that it has acquired PlassoTech, a supplier of analysis and simulation software for the mechanical design market. Financial terms were not disclosed. Autodesk said it will integrate PlassoTech's technology into its Inventor product family. PlassoTech's technology is used for finite element analysis, used for the design of industrial machinery, transportation, consumer products, buildings, and plant equipment.
