San Rafael-based CAD software firm AutoDesk said last Friday that it has acquired Vela Systems, cloud and mobile field management software for the construction industry. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Vela Systems was based in Burlington, Mass., and makes Autodesk's project management software available via mobile devices.
