San Francisco-based CARDFREE, a developer of mobile commerce products that integrate with point-of-sale systems, has raised $10M in a Series A, the company said today. The company said the funding came last month. Source of the new funding was not announced. CARDFREE said it is part of a portfolio of companies advised by Mercury Payments Systems founder Jeffrey Katz. The company is led by Jon Squire, who the firm said was previously head of Dunkin' Donuts mobile efforts. The company said its platform provides personalized offers and promotions, mobile payments, loyalty, order-ahead and social media engagement to merchants. More information »
