Clean Filtration Technologies Raises $3.5M

Redwood City-based Clean Filtration Technologies, a developer of water filtering technology, said Wednesday that it has raised $3.5M in a Series B funding round. The firm said the new funding was led by The Dow Chemical Company. As part of the funding, Christopher Jones, Dow Investment Manager for Dow Venture Capital, joins the board of the company. The investment also includes a joint development agreement between the two companies. Clean Filtration Technologies is developing a filtration device used to reduce total suspended solids in filtered water, and is being applied to wastewater reuse, potable water processing, industrial processing, and agricultural irrigation.
