San Francisco-based CMEA Ventures said today that it has closed on its seventh fund, CMEA Venture VII, L.P., at $400M. The new venture capital fund will focus on energy & materials, information technology, and life sciences, and brings the venture capital firm's total dollars under management to just under $1 billion. No details on the limited partners in the fund were released. The new fund will be managed by CMEA's existing team.
