    Coverity Buys Codefast


    San Francisco-based Coverity said today that it has acquired San Jose-based Codefast, a developer of Agile software development tools. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Coverity is venture backed by Foundation Capital and Benchmark Capital; Codefast is also backed by Foundation, as well as Trinity Ventures. Coverity said that acquisition will help it expand its platform of products. Coverity's software is used to improve software quality in C/C++ and Java source code.
