Menlo Park-based Cuill said Tuesday that it has raised $25M in a Series B investment. The stealth, search engine startup said the funding was led by Madrone Capital Partners. Cuill has previously raised $8M in a round of funding from Tugboat Ventures and Greylock Partners. The firm is headed by Tom Costello, and says that it has a team of search experts from Google, IBM, eBay, Alta Vista, Xerox PARC, the Internet Archive and Stanford University on its team.
