DeviceVM Raises $15M
San Jose-based DeviceVM said today that it has added $15M in a Series C funding round. The firm said the round was led by New Enterprise Associates. Other investors in the round included Storm Ventures, DFJ Dragon, and individuals Tim Draper and Larry Augustin. DeviceVM develops Splashtop, software which helps the computers boot in an "instant." The firm said that several large PC manufacturers are scheduled to begin shipping the firm's products soon. DeviceVM was represented by Warren Lazarow and Paul Sieben of O'Melveny & Myers LLP in the funding.
