Mountain View-based Eye-Fi, which manufactures Wi-Fi enabled memory cards for digital cameras, said today that the firm has launched a new card which features support for RAW image formats, the high resolution, native formats of most digital cameras. According to Eye-Fi, the new Eye-Fi pro, 4GB card will allow professionals and photo enthusiasts to upload their images in RAW format to their computer and the web. The new capabilities are an enhancement on the firm's existing support for JPEG format images. The new SDHC card has a MSRP of $149. Eye-Fi is venture backed by LMS Capital, Opus Capital, Shasta Ventures and TransLink Capital.
