Social networking service FriendFeed, which helps aggregate various social media and networking sites for users, has been acquired by Facebook, the firm said today. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to FriendFeed, it will continue to operate normally, as the firms figure out longer term plans with Facebook. FriendFeed was backed by $5M in funding from Benchmark Capital.
