Mountain View-based Facebook is reportedly in talks to acquire opera Software, the developer of mobile web browsing software. The two firms have not commented on the rumors. Opera Software is based in Oslo, and is publicly listed. Analysts predicted a deal would value Opera at between $1.0 billion an d$1.35 blilion.
