Fididel Launches Online Marketplace for Haggling
San Jose-based Fididel said this morning that it has launched a new online marketplace which allows users to negotiate--in real time--for products. The site said it is looking to move online buying from auction and fixed-price transactions to "real-time negotiation." The firm said it will allow buyers to use the service to purchase electronics, sporting goods, home and garden, and other products. The service taps into a Fididel sales team -- "Fididelers" who will negotiate products on behalf of sellers, adjusting with buying demand and inventory. Fididel is venture backed by Quest Venture Partners.
