San Francisco-based Fwix said Thursday that its Series A funding--which was announced on August 31st, without an amount--was worth $2.75M. The round came from B lueRun Ventures. Fwix operates a real-time, local news site which combines blog and other news content. The investment amount was disclosed along with the opening of the firm's API, which allows developers to pull specific content from the service.
