TOP NEWS Lands $6.5M For Mobile Health Apps

San Francisco- and Cambridge, Mass-based said this week that it has raised $6.5M in a Series A funding round, for its mobile health apps. The firm uses "big data" and smartphones to help monitor a person's health. The new funding was led by Khosla Ventures, and also included prior investors True Ventures and Romulus Capital.'s technology is based on research from MIT's Media Lab, and uses a smartphone to monitor such conditions as depression, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
