    Google Acquires Adscape Media

Mountain View-based Google made a second acquisition Friday, confirming that it has acquired San Francisco-based Adscape Media. Terms were not disclosed. Adscape develops systems for in-game advertising. According to Google, the firm believes that in-game advertising is an area where the firm can add a lot of value to users, advertisers, and publishers. The acquisition was first disclosed by Red Herring last month, which cited a source that said the deal was worth $23M.
