Mountain View-based Google's sale of Motorola Home to ARRIS Group has closed, according to ARRIS, in a deal that was worth $2.2 billion cash plus 10.6M shares of the stock of ARRIS. ARRIS, which develops video and broadband technology, said it funded the acquisition via both debt and equity from Comcast Corporation. Arris is based in Suwanee, Georgia.
