    Gracenote Rolls Song Lyric Widget


    Emeryville-based Gracenote, a provider of music data and information, has opened up its lyrics database, and is rolling out a widget which will allow music fans to embed lyrics in their blogs and web sites. According to Gracenote, which is owned by Sony, it will allow users to embed a widget to allow users to post song lyrics or find artists, track names, or other information about songs. The widget links to authorized, licensed lyrics on the Gracenote site.
