Palo Alto-based HP announced today that it has acquired Stratavia, a Denver-based firm which develops softwar for managing software applicatoin deployment. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. HP said the acquisition will strengthen i ts HP Software and Solutions portfolio. Stratavia's software is used to deploy, configure, and manage enterprise databases, middleware and packaged applications. Stratavia was venture backed by Adams Street Partners, Asset Management Company, and Vista Ventures, and has raised somewhere around $10.0M in venture funding.
