    Kango Raises $4M


    Palo Alto-based Kango, a new online travel search and discovery web site, said today it has raised $4M in a Series A venture round from Shasta Ventures. The company said that it is looking to create more satisfying vacation experiences for travelers. Kango said that it has launched a beta of the firm's web site, which offers more than 20 million travel reviews from thousands of web sites. The site was founded by Yen Lee, former general manager of Yahoo! Travel.
