Limbo Rolls Out Spiderman Promotion
Burlingame-based Limbo 41414 has inked a deal with News America Marketing, the advertising and promotional division of News Corp, in a Spiderman-themed promotion. The startup, which is funded by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Azure Capital Partners, said Wednesday that it will give away a 2006 Ford Mustang GT Convertible in conjunction with a reprint of Marvel's first Amazing Spider-Man comic book. Players of its Limbo "Auction" game will have a chance to win the Mustang plus free gas for a year. Limbo develops text-messaging games for play on cell phones.
