Vodafone, Yahoo Launch Mobile Advertising
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo! and Vodafone said today that the two are in a strategic alliance to deliver mobile advertising on Vodafone's mobile services. The online mobile advertising effort will roll out in the UK in the first half of next year. The win is the first for Yahoo's recently announced mobile advertising service. Yahoo will become Vodafone's execlusive display advertising partner in the UK as part of the deal.
