WeatherBill Launches Weather Risk Management Service
San Francisco-based WeatherBill launched its weather risk management service today, saying that it wil allow companies to purchase coverage that pays for adverse weather conditions. The firm disclosed as part of its launch that it has received funding from New Enterprise Associates and Index Ventures. The firm is headed by David Friedberg and other former employees of Google.
