JDSU Acquires Picolight
Milpitas-based JDSU announced today that it is in a definitive agreement to acquire Picolight, a designer and manufacturer of optical transceivers. The deal is worth $115M in stock plus up to $10M in cash. JDSU said that it expects the transaction to close in the fourth quarter ending June 30th. Picolight develops components used in optical networking.
