NETGEAR Completes Infrant Acquisition
Santa Clara-based NETGEAR said late Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of Fremont, California-based Infrant. The deal, which was announced earlier this month, was worth $60M in cash. NETGEAR's acquisitin of Infrant gives it a line of network attached storage products targeted at the small business, professional, and home market. Paul Tien, former President and CEO of Infrant has become VP and General Manager of NETGEAR's Network Storage Products.
