Agilent Buys Adaptif
Santa Clara-based Agilent said Wednesday that it has acquired Adaptif Photonics GmbH. Adaptif is a provider of products used in the testing of optical components and systems in the communications field. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The firms said that all of Adaptif's employees are expected to join Agilent. The deal is expected to close in June. Adaptif Photonics is based in Hamburg, Germany.
