Silicon Valley Solar Raises $10.2M
Santa Clara-based Silicon Valley Solar, a firm developing solar concentrators, said Monday that it raised $10.2M in a Series A funding. The round came from Bessemer Venture Partners. Silicon Valley Solar said that the firm also completed the acquisition of NuEdison, an angel-funded manufacturer of photovoltaic modules. Silicon Valley Solar said the funding will be used for process development, equipment, materials and staffing.
