Palo Alto Networks Raises $18M
San Jose-based Palo Alto Networks, a developer of firewall security products, said this morning that it has secured $18M in a Series B financing. The funding came from Globespan Capital Partners, along with current investors Greylock Partners and Sequoia Capital. Palo Alto Networks is developing network firewall products used for enforcing application policy in enterprise networks. The company said the funding will be used to expand sales, marketing and engineering, and brings its total raised to $28M.
