Adobe Buys Virtual Ubiquity
Adobe said today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Virtual Ubiquity, a maker of an online word processor. Financial terms were not disclosed. Virtual Ubuiquity's online word processor, Buzzword, runs on Adobe's Flash Player, and allows users to collaborate on word processing documents. The firm is based in Waltham, Mass.
