Los Gatos-based wireless mesh networking developer Firetide said today that it has raised $14.4M in a Series D financing. The firm said the round was led by Coral Capital Management, and also included existing investors in the firm. Firetide did not disclose which existing investors participated in the round. Firetide provide wireless mesh networking infrastructure, targeted at the municipal and enterprise markets. Firetide said the funding will go towards its global business strategy and to respond to growing market demand.
