Liftopia Gets Series A
San Francisco-based Liftopia said Wednesday that the firm has raised a Series A round of funding from the Sand Hill Angels, along with Erik Blachford, former CEO of Expedia and the North Bay Angels. Details of the funding were not disclosed. Liftopia operates an online marketplace for discount ski lift tickets and related activities. Liftopia said it will use the funding to add more resort partners, for developing its site, and in marketing and hiring.
