Google Shows Site Search Service
Mountain View-based Google said today that it has rolled out a new, hosted website search product, targeted at providing indexed search results to corporate web sites. According to Google, its new Google Site Search product allows website owners to easily set up site-based search. The new search service can be customized, and is available free of ads. According to Google, the service starts at $100 based on flat annual pricing; the firm said that EMC, Business.gov, eHealthInsurance, and Techsmith are among the first companies to sign on to the hosted site search program.
