Integration Associates Acquired By Silicon Laboratories
Mountain View-based Integration Associates, a developer of analog-based integrated circuits, is being acquired by Silicon Laboratories, a developer of mixed signals ICs based in Austin, Texas. According to Silicon Laboratories, it will pay $80M for Integratoin Associates, to add nearly 100 engineers to the firm. Silicon Laboratories said the deal would bolster the firm's R&D investments. The firm reports that Integration Associates had a quarterly run rate of approximately $8M.
