ByteShield Gets Seed Round
San Francisco-based ByteShield, a developer of security products for the computer games market, said last week that it has raised a seed funding round from Gylling Invest AB and other angel investors. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. ByteShield said the funding will go towards development of its platform, plus expanded sales and marketing efforts. The firm is developing software for anti-piracy and preventing "cracking" of video game titles.
