Aicent Gets Funding From Intel
San Jose-based Aicent said this week that it has scored an investment from Intel Capital. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. Aicent operates a wireless mobile roaming exchange used by mobile carriers to provide wireless connectivity to their subscribers. According to Aicent, the funding will go towards its 3G and 4G data roaming initiatives. Aicent has previously received funding from Warburg Pincus.
