Redpoint Ventures Hires EIR
Menlo Park-based venture capital firm Redpoint Ventures said last week that it has hired David Karnstedt as an Executive-in-Residence at the firm. Karnstedt joins the firm from Yahoo!, where he was most recently Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales. Redpoint said that Karnstedt will focus on web and advertising markets for the firm. Karnstedt has also served at Alta Vista, Wired Lycos, and Overture.
