Intel Capital Takes Stake In Telligent
Santa Clara-based Intel Capital said Tuesday that the firm has taken a stake in Telligent Systems, a maker of enterprise social networking software. According to Intel, it has agreed to take a $20M stake in Dallas-based Telligent, whose software is used by companies for internal social networking and communications. Intel is a customer of Telligent. According to Intel, Telligent will use the funding to expand its sals teams and territories, as well as for marketing, advertising, and product development.
