Trimble Buys Tru Count
Sunnyvale-based Trimble announced this morning that it has acquired the assets of Tru Count, a manufacturer of air and electric clutches for the agricultural market. Financial terms were not disclosed. Trimble, a maker of GPS and surveying equipment, said the all-cash transaction will make Tru Count a part of its Agriculture division. True Count's products are used in conjunction with Global Positioning System (GPS) products from Trimble.
