Vista Equity Partners Closes $1.3B Software Fund
San Francisco-based Vista Equity Partners said Tuesday that it has closed Vista Equity Partners Fund II, a $1.3 billion software investment fund. According to Vista Equity Partners, limited partners in the fund came from pension funds, corporate investors, fund-of-funds and high net worth individuals, and is its first institutional fund. The new fund will focus on investments in middle-market enterprise software and "technology-enabled solutions" firms. the new fund has already made three investments, including one in Sunquest Information Systems.
