Morgenthaler Raises $400M Fund
Menlo Park-based Morgenthaler Ventures said earlier this week that it has closed a $400M fund, Morgenthaler Venture Partners IX. According to the firm, the new fund brings its total under management to $2.6 billion. Morgenthaler said the new fund will focus on early stage investing, although the fund said it would be broadening its investments towards more Series B and Series C fundings than prior funds. Morgenthaler invests in information technology and life science companies.
