Audience, a developer of voice processors for the handset market, said this morning that it has raised $15M in a Series D funding. The new funding came from existin investors, which include New Enterprise Associates, Tallwood Venture Capital, Vulcan Capital, and VentureTech Alliance. According to the firm, the new funding brings its total raised to $60M. Audience develops voice processors used for noise supression, and is currently being used in handsets from LG, Pantech, Sharp, and others.
