San Bruno-based Planet Metrics reported today that the firm has released its carbon modeling software, which allows companies to track their carbon emissions and energy use across their supply chain. The firm, which is backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and angel investors, said its Rapid Carbon Modeling Software is available as software-as-a-service, and will track "cradle-to-grave" carbon emissions of their operations.
