Vhayu Technologies Acquired By Thomson Reuters
Los Gatos-based Vhayu Technologies, a provider of technology used by financial institutions to track financial data, has been acquired by Thomson Reuters. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Thomson has been distributing vhayu's Velocity tick data software for the last four years under the Reuters Tick Capture Engine brand. Vhayu's software will become part of Thomson Reuter's Quantitative and Event Driven Trading solution.
