Google Enhances Enterprise Search, Connects To Salesforce.com
Mountain View-based Google reported Wednesday that the firm has launched two new tools for its enterprise search appliance, the Google Search Appliance. The two tools include a new way to compare searches side-by-side on the same data, and a new connector for Salesforce data and other enterprise systems. The new connectors also include integration of data from SharePoint, FileNet, and Documentum so that the search software can index data from those systems.
