San Mateo-based DotNetNuke, a developer of software for building web sites and applications using Microsoft .NET, said Thursday that it has acquired Snowcovered, which operates an online marketplace for DotNetNuke modules, skins, services, and other related products. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. DotNetNuke said it will continue to operate Snowcovered's marketplace, with the firm operating as a subsidiary. DotNetNuke is venture backed by Sierra Ventures and August Capital.
