Zong Links Mobile Payment Service To Credit Cards
Palo Alto-based Zong announced this morning that it has launched an upgraded online mobile payment service which allows users to make online purchases using a credit card. According to Zong, which is used on online gaming and social networking sites, its Zong+ service also now includes support for credit, debit, and prepaid cards, in addition to existing support for billing through cell phone bills. The service now allows users to purchase goods by entering their mobile number and confirming security transaction codes on their phone, allowing for larger purchase amounts.
