Kadena Software Acquired
Santa Clara-based Kadena Software, a maker of data deduplication software, has been acquired. According to Arkeia Software, a developer of backup software products, it acquired Kadena and has hired CTO Tamir Ram as Chief Architect as part of the deal. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Arkeia said it would incorporate Kadena's software into its Arkeia Network Backup product.
