Smule Tunes Into $8M
Palo Alto-based mobile music applications developer SonicMule said Wednesday that the firm has raised $8M in additional financing for the firm, in a venture round led by Shasta Ventures. SonicMule said that prior investors Bessemer Venture partners and Granite Ventures also participated in the funding. SonicMule is the developer of the I am T-Pain, Leaf Trombone, and Ocarina iPhone applications.
